Preface: This article covers the requirements and Customer agreement to return a machine to Thunder Laser USA
Upon agreement by Thunder Laser to accept a machine return or to swap your machine out for another, the customer must agree to the following and comply with the requirements listed below. The return is a business transaction and should be treated as such, both parties have responsibilities.
- Customer must re-pack the machine like OEM or better than the OEM packaging for shipment. Care should be taken so as to limit possible damage to the machine in transit. This includes using foam, film, zip ties and the OEM shipping crate/container. If you no longer have the materials, you will need to acquire them or re-use the materials from the replacement machine if applicable.
- Customer must take pre-package pictures of the machine showing all 4 sides of the machine and the internal working area of the machine and submit the high resolution images to Thunder Laser USA.
- Customer must take post-packaged pictures of the machine showing all 5 sides of the packaging and submit the high resolution images to Thunder Laser USA.
- Customer must include all accessories that were included with the original machine must be returned (Consumables like swabs/wipes can be omitted). Must include the power cord, keys, tool box, tool, spare parts and any warranty parts that were supplied by Thunder Laser. (For the warranty parts, return labels provided by Thunder Laser can be used to return them separately). If doing a machine swap, it is required to send back the new machine toolbox/pouch and accessories (exhaust, chiller, air pump etc) back with the old machine.
- Customer must willingly participate in the pickup of the machine from the shipper or on their own accord, arrange a method of getting the crate to the shipping depot. The pickup usually is done towards the end of a business day and is performed the same way...box truck with a liftgate and a pallet jack. There are not guaranteed time windows, just like deliveries. Coordination of all pickups and deliveries will go through a 3rd party representative for Thunder Laser known as Global Tranz.
- Customer must make an effort to clean the machine up. Remove loose debris from the crumb tray as it tends to bounce around and get everywhere and can cause further issues.
- Customer must clear your files from the controller. Thunder Laser is not responsible for data left on the controller.
- Customer must complete and sign the checklist here and include a printed copy with the returned machine.
