Demo Locations

See a Thunder Laser runbefore you buy it.

Our demo hosts are real owners running these machines in their own shops every day. Visit one near you, watch it work on the kind of thing you actually make, and ask an owner the questions you would never ask a salesperson.

How booking a demo actually works

Four steps, and you are talking to the host directly by the second one. Nobody sits in the middle slowing it down.

1

Pick a host

Browse the hosts below or search your ZIP. Read what each one is good at before you choose — that is what stops you driving to the wrong shop.

You
2

Tell us what you want to see

A short form. The important part is what you make and what you want to watch the machine do. That is what the host reads.

You
3

We introduce you by email

The moment you submit, you and the host land on the same email thread with our sales team copied. No waiting on us to pass a message along.

You two pick a day

The host replies to you directly and you work out a time between you. They can also say no, and if they do we line up someone else.

You & the host

What it costs you: nothing. The visit is free, there is no obligation, and the host has no quota and cannot quote you a price. Anything about pricing, lead times or financing comes back to us afterwards, so nobody has to put a host on the spot.

Before you book, two things. These visits are for people deciding whether to buy a machine, not training for one you already own. If you are already a Thunder Laser owner, your included training and our support team will get you further than a shop visit will. And because every host is a business owner volunteering their shop and their time, they have the final say on each visit. We introduce you by email the moment you submit, so if the timing does not work or your project is outside what they do, they will tell you on that thread and we will line up another option rather than leave you hanging.

Click any dot to read that host. Scroll-wheel zoom turns on once you click the map.

After the visit

The host shows you the machine. Everything else comes back to us, so nobody has to put a customer on the spot about pricing.

Talk numbers with our team

Pricing, configuration, lead times and financing all go through Thunder Laser USA. Book a call and we will work out which machine actually fits what you saw yourself doing.

Remote training is included

Every machine purchase comes with a free one-hour remote training session with a Thunder Laser technician. That is our team, not your demo host, and it happens after your machine arrives.

Still deciding? Send material

Mail us the material you are planning to run and we will cut a sample and ship the result back, so you can judge the finish with it in your hand before you commit.

This is the part a spec sheet cannot do

Standing next to a machine while it runs tells you more in ten minutes than a week of reading. Photos from IGNITE, our annual laser training event.

Questions people ask before they come

If yours is not here, email [email protected] and we will answer it straight.

What does a demo cost?
Nothing. The host is a business owner volunteering their shop and their time, and we are not charging you to look at a machine.
Is this a sales pitch?
No. The host is an owner, not a salesperson, and they have no quota. They will tell you what they like about the machine and what annoys them. If you want pricing or a quote, that comes back to us so nobody puts a host on the spot.
Can I bring my own material for them to cut?
Please do not show up with material expecting a test run. An unfamiliar material takes real time to work out, and nobody wants to be the one who ruins a piece you paid for. If you want to know how a machine handles your material before you buy, request a free sample cut and we will run your material and send the result back to you.
What if there is no host near me?
We do not do virtual demos, because watching a laser through a webcam does not tell you anything useful. Two better options: get on a call with our team and we will talk through what you make and which machine actually fits, or, if you are weighing up a machine, mail us the material you plan to run and we will cut a sample and ship the result to you. Holding the finished piece beats watching a video of one. Schedule a call
I already own a Thunder Laser. Can I book a demo?
These visits are for people deciding whether to buy, so this is not the right path for an owner. You are already covered better elsewhere: every machine comes with a free one-hour remote training session with a Thunder Laser technician, and [email protected] will get you a real answer faster than a drive across the state will.
Will the host quote me a price?
No, and you should not ask them to. Pricing, lead times, and financing all come through Thunder Laser USA. Ask the host about the machine and the work. Ask us about the money.
Who are these hosts?
Real Thunder Laser owners. Many are brand ambassadors or partners who make content, and several run the machine as a core part of their business. Locations marked Thunder Laser Demo Center are staffed by our own technical team instead, which is the stop to make if you want to go deep on specs and settings.
Can the host say no?
Yes, and sometimes they will. They may be mid production run, or your project may be outside what they do. If that happens we will tell you quickly and line up another option rather than leaving you waiting on a reply that never comes.
I own a Thunder Laser. Can I host demos?
We would like that. Email [email protected] and tell us where you are, which machine you run, and what you make. Hosts get their business and social links on this page in front of people actively shopping.
