Introduction
This article is going to explore a simple raster engraving job done on a Odin 32-60 at maximum speed on one side of a wood phone holder, and that same job done at half that speed on the other side.

Which side is set to 2000mm/sec and which side is set to 1000mm/sec?
The Results
If you said that Side 1 was at 2000mm/sec and that Side 2 was at 1000mm/sec, you would be absolutely correct!
Speed isn't everything. It's only part of the equation.
The reason the same job takes longer when set to 2000mm/sec than it does when set to only 1000mm/sec is the extend space. The acceleration and deceleration matter more, and at 2000mm/sec, the head has to have more room to slow down and turn around. so all that counts in the travel time of the head.

Scanning Offsets
The offset values came directly from the gold card that shipped with the machine. These values are different for every machine regardless of model or wattage.
