AccuMetal Setup: Chiller, Exhaust and Gas Connections
After the machine is leveled, connect the chiller, exhaust fan and assist gas to the labeled ports on the machine. Fill the chiller before the machine is powered for the first time.
Connection map
Every hose and cable goes to a port with a matching label. Identify ports by their labels, not by color or position.

Chiller
Fill the chiller through its water injection port with distilled or deionized water until the level gauge reaches the high mark in the yellow zone.
Connect the supplied hoses between the chiller and the machine, matching labels exactly:
Chiller INLET H to machine INLET H, and OUTLET H to OUTLET H.
Chiller INLET L to machine INLET L, and OUTLET L to OUTLET L.
In areas that freeze, add antifreeze (Clariant antifreeze is recommended).
Exhaust
Mount the exhaust pipe support bracket on top of the machine.
Connect a hose from the machine's rear exhaust outlet to the fan inlet.
Connect the fan outlet hose and route it outdoors or to a filtration system.
The exhaust fan plugs into the machine's exhaust fan output. It starts automatically when cutting begins and stops 30 seconds after the job ends (default).
Assist gas
Assist gas isn't included; supply it from an air compressor or gas cylinders.
Gas | Connects to | Supply |
|---|---|---|
Compressed air | Air/N₂ inlet | Below 1.6 MPa (232 psi); completely dry, no water or oil. Fit a water separator plus filters or an air dryer |
Nitrogen | Air/N₂ inlet | Bottled or liquid N₂ through a pressure-reducing valve; purity ≥99.99% |
Oxygen | O₂ inlet | Through a pressure-reducing valve; purity ≥99.99% |
Gas flow must be more than 1.0 m³/min (about 35 CFM).
The pneumatic clamps run on compressed air from the Air/N₂ inlet, so keep the air compressor connected even when cutting with oxygen.
Keep everything on the oxygen line free of oil, grease and combustible dirt.
Connect the chiller power, chiller alarm cable and exhaust fan to their labeled outputs on the machine only after power is isolated; see the electrical power article.
