Preface: This article covers the basics of installing pins on a honeycomb bed.

Tools Needed

Step 1

Place the honeycomb bed on the blade and measure the distant range of the honeycomb panel that needs to be installed.

Try to ensure that the distance between the honeycomb bed and the 4 corners of the machine is equal. See the below.

Step 2

Use double-sided tape and stick it on the back of the fixing pin.

Step 3

Gently lift up the bottom of the honeycomb, then tear off the double-sided tape spacer of the fixing pin, and place the fixing pin in the fixed hole. See the below video.

Notes

#1. When placing, the direction of the fixing pin 2 on the right side is different from that on the left side. Please refer to the figure picture and video below.

The installation direction of pin2 is to avoid errors in the position of the fixing pin and to facilitate left and right adjustment.

Step 4

Lift the fixing pin upwards slightly and stick it to the honeycomb. See the below video.

Step 5

Use a pen to mark the outline of the fixing pin.

The last 3 Steps (Step 5, Step 6, and Step 7), please check the link below, the video is longer, you can speed up to see how to operate.

Step 6

Using a 3.3mm hole, remember to drill a hole in the center of the mark, then use an M4 threaded tap to tap the threads.

Note: For this step you need to use a 3.3mm drill bit and M4 tap.

Step 7

Tighten the fixing pin with the M4 bolt.
