Preface: If you have a stubborn mirror retaining ring, here are some things you can do to loosen the ring up.

Both the snap ring and mirror tool are included in your toolbox with your Nova Series Laser.

How to Use the Snap Ring Pliers to Loosen the Retaining Ring
NOTE: Never use the snap ring pliers to tighten a mirror retainer — they are only for loosening stubborn rings. Use the mirror removal tool that is supplied with the machine for installing and tightening the retaining ring.
