Titan - Lens Selection on the touchscreen and Focal Distance Parameters

Preface: Titan Firmware released in December 2025 added the function on the touch panel for users to select the Auto-Focus Distance value for the optional lenses/barrels. Email your support team if you need to update your firmware.

Lens Change Function

The Lens Change option has been added to the panel of Titan Series since Mid December 2025.
It is used to switch the corresponding Auto-Focus value when changing the optional lenses/barrels.

The options are as follows:
Each option corresponds to a specific user-parameter focal distance value stored in the controller. The standard lens values are correctly configured and written into the controller before shipment; no further adjustment is required. If you need to test and input a new or backup focal distance, below is the introduction for your reference.

CO2 & Fiber 3" Lens	Used for the stock 3" lens, both Fiber and CO2
CO2 Only, 1.5, 2, 2.5" Lens	Used for the stock CO2 Lens of your choice
CO2 Custom	Custom CO2 setting
Fiber Custom	Custom Fiber setting

*Only the Stock 3" lens is compatible with the Fiber Source.

When the corresponding lens option is selected on the panel, the machine will read the preset Focusing Parameter value to complete the Auto-Focus process before running a file.

Currently, the values can only be set by RDworks; the values will be adjustable by Lasermaker and Lightburn shortly.

If you would like to adjust with RDworks, you will need to download this version (RDWorksV8.01.68 minimum revision) and connect to your Titan (Ethernet) and then you can adjust:

When your machine is a TITAN (not Titan Pro), the Focusing Parameter displays the following content:

Only the focusing parameter values corresponding to CO2(1.5/2/2.5/4'' Lens) and CO2 Custom can be read and modified.

As Titan has no fiber laser source as Titan Pro, the CO2&Fiber and Fiber options are invalid on the panel.

New Alarm Pop-Up Related to this Function

Selecting an option in the Lens Change that has no corresponding relationship with the project file will cause this fault to occur. For example, if you send a CO2 project over but have "Fiber Custom" selected, the alarm will occur. You need to select the proper lens type for what is installed on the machine and what is used in your project.

As below：

If Fiber Custom is selected in the Lens Change while the processing file is set to use the CO₂ laser, this fault pop-up will be triggered.

If CO2(1.5/2/2.5/4'' Lens) is selected in the Lens Change and the processing file also sets the CO₂ laser type, the file can run successfully.
