Cut tactical gear with clean, sealed edges. At production speed.
From 500D and 1000D Cordura to Tegris, laminates, hook and loop, spacer mesh, foam, and leather, the Nova Plus cuts the materials your shop runs every day. Its pass-through allows cutting large sheets or feeding directly from a roll, while the bed and frame keep wide textile panels supported.
Most gear shops run the wide-bed Nova Plus 63, starting at $18,050.

When the orders grow, the cutting table is where it all backs up.
Hand cutting and manual hot-knife work make throughput and quality depend on the operator. Automatic-feed hot knives remain the right tool for routine webbing cuts. For fabric panels, laminates, and structural stiffeners, dies lock you into one shape and cost a fortune to change, while scissors and rotary cutters do not scale. As volume climbs, cutting becomes the choke point and outsourcing trades that problem for lead time and a vendor taking a cut of every piece.
Bring repeatable panel cutting in-house.
A laser gives fabric panels, laminates, and structural stiffeners a digital workflow. You can revise a pattern without ordering a new die, nest parts to use material well, and repeat the same file when the next order arrives.
Clean, sealed panel edges
The laser melts and seals the edge as it cuts, so nylon, Cordura, and laminates can come off the bed clean and ready to sew. Material, coating, weave, and thickness still matter, which is why we test the finish.
Any shape, straight from your files
No dies and no physical setup change. Cut any pattern from your design files, revise it in minutes, nest tightly to save fabric, and run the same file again later.
Repeatable at production speed
Every cut follows the same file, so output can scale with orders. The same machine can also engrave logos, size tabs, and lot marks on compatible materials.
Materials that belong in a tactical gear laser workflow.
Cordura and Tegris are the two many gear shops live on, one for soft goods and one for structure. The Nova Plus also handles Curv, laminated pack fabrics such as X-Pac, laminated and plain nylon, hook and loop, spacer mesh, polyester, foam, felt, and leather.
Not sure how your exact material will finish? Send a few expendable pieces. We will inspect the front, edge, and backside, then tell you whether the result is clean enough for your product. Cutting through is only the first test.
Materials of concern: what not to cut
Heated PVC, including Kydex and clear vinyl pouch windows, releases hydrogen chloride gas that is toxic to people and corrosive to the machine. Kydex is thermoformed, not laser cut. ABS releases hydrogen cyanide gas. Hypalon / CSM and HANK are chlorinated materials and are also a hard no. Coated laminates such as DWR-treated X-Pac want strong extraction. We will always tell you the truth about a material instead of selling you a result we cannot stand behind.
Webbing is a different workflow. Most shops use an automatic-feed hot knife for straight webbing cuts. A laser may seal a thin weave somewhat, but the edge is often less durable on thicker webbing. A laser can make sense for an unusual rounded or beveled end held in a jig, but it is not the default webbing tool.

See what runs on Cordura, laminates, stiffeners, foam, and leather, what to avoid, how pass-through changes material flow, and how to judge a useful sample.
No cost, and no sales call required to read it.
From raw material to finished gear.
The laser workflow centers on fabric panels, structural stiffeners, patches and name tapes, foam inserts, and compatible leather parts. Routine straight webbing still belongs on an automatic-feed hot knife.
Soft goods
Cordura and laminate panels for plate carriers, pouches, packs, placards, and bags.
Structure and protection
Tegris and Curv stiffeners, plus EVA and closed-cell foam inserts.
Details and hard goods
Compatible patches, name tapes, leather accents, and engraved identifiers.
Most gear shops run the Nova Plus 63.
For tactical gear and technical textiles, the wide-bed Nova Plus 63 is the anchor. The Nova Plus 51 keeps the same workflow in a smaller footprint, and the Titan 51 is the production-duty step up when faster engraving and all-day operation matter.
Nova Plus 63
Wide-bed workhorse for full panels and rolled goods up to 60 inches wide. The pass-through allows cutting large sheets or feeding directly from a roll, while the bed and frame support textile panels across the width.
Nova Plus 51
The same RF workflow in a smaller bed. Its front-and-back pass-through allows long sheets or roll-fed material to move through in indexed sections.
Titan 51
The premium RF step up for faster engraving and all-day duty on 220v. Cutting speed tracks wattage, so match the wattage to the material and use the Titan for its motion system and production duty cycle.
A standard Nova remains a capable textile cutter. If you already own one, you did not buy the wrong machine. Nova Plus adds an RF metal tube, air cooling, a finer beam, and an overhead camera. Compare the finished edge and backside on your actual material, bed support, pass-through access, extraction, and the duty cycle your schedule demands. The two Nova Plus models run on 110v; Titan 51 requires 220v. LightBurn software is included and licensed for two computers; the computer is not included. Every machine ships nationwide with US-based support coast to coast, one free hour of remote training, and a 2 year machine warranty. Not sure which fits? Request a free sample.

The right tool for the job
For straight webbing we will point you to a hot knife. For wide textile panels, we will help you evaluate bed support, pass-through flow, extraction, and edge quality.
A sample you can inspect
We inspect the front, edge, and backside on your material and return the settings, so the decision is based on the finish you can actually ship.
You are buying the people behind it, too.
US-based support coast to coast from people who know these machines.
When a machine carries a production step, support matters. Thunder owners start with one free hour of remote training, every machine carries a 2 year warranty, and experienced US-based technicians help when questions come up.
You also get straight answers about the application, including when the right answer is a hot knife, a different machine, or more material testing.
See the finish on your own material. Free.
Cutting through is only the first test. We will check the front, edge, and backside on the material you actually use. This is a sample to show what the machine can do, not a production run, and we do not take in finished goods or fill orders.
Tell us the finish you need
Tell us the material, the simple cut you want to see, and what clean means for your product so we can confirm it is laser safe first.
Mail us a few pieces
Send a few pieces that you are okay with us using up. That gives us room to dial in settings and show the best useful result.
We inspect it and send it back
You get the sample back with the exact settings we used, so you can judge the edge and both faces. No cost, no pressure.
Send a few pieces, not just one. Treat anything you send as material we may consume while finding the useful settings.
Do not send PVC, Kydex, clear vinyl, Hypalon / CSM, HANK, ABS, or unknown materials. We will confirm composition before running anything uncertain.
Gear-maker questions, answered straight.
Will it cut my material?
How clean are the edges, really?
Is my standard Nova the wrong machine?
What about fumes and ventilation?
Do you ship nationwide, and what support do I get?
What power and space do I need, and can I finance it?
Send us your material. We will test the finish free.
Fill out the short form and tell us what clean means for your product. We will inspect the front, edge, and backside and return the sample with the settings. Send a few expendable pieces, not finished goods.
