The Boss ain’t the boss no more. Actually, they haven’t been for quite some time.
The days of importing a Chinese laser, rebranding it, and calling it “USA-Made” are over. Still kinda weird how much they look like a G-Weike.
They did finally upgrade to the hybrid-servos that Thunder has been using for years. It’s the same motor we use, but they allow you to input “1500mm/s” to the firmware. However, the motors stop performing well at 1,000mm/s and, even then, it takes a gantry more solid than the one from Boss to support those speeds.

But the math still don't math.
It’s still an overpriced, Chinese machine with a subpar gantry and poor Quality Control.
Be wary of false claims.
No glass Co2 tube on the market lasts 12,000 working hours. Just Google it. Our tubes “last” 12,000 hours, too. They just won’t be able to cut paper after that amount of use. So we quote 2,000-4,000 working hours because that is when you’ll want to replace it. We don’t overpromise or underdeliver. All glass tubes are hand made so they’re filled with imperfections which cause the gas to leak. Our tubes undergo extensive testing to ensure the longest possible life for our customers.
