New FTDI Driver Solves Mac USB Issues
Install the correct FTDI driver for your Mac OS version to resolve USB communication issues such as file transfer failures and disconnections when using LightBurn.
Preface: This article covers the new FTDI driver that you can install to mitigate communication issues (File transfer failed, unable to connect, disconnected, file transfer glitches) that are commonly seen on the MAC OS with a direct USB connection. We still suggest using Ethernet on your Mac, even with a USB converter.
According to LightBurn, the Mac USB Issues seem to have been mitigated with their new OEM driver release.
